  1. The Synod strongly condemns the recent killings in Benue, Plateau, and Taraba states, (Karim-Lamido and Tapga in Ibbi LGAs) highlighting the growing insecurity in Nigeria. It urges the Federal Government to take concrete actions, as outlined in the constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, to address these violent acts. The Synod also calls on the government and philanthropists to prioritize the welfare of Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) and to station permanent security agencies in affected areas to prevent future incidents and allow displaced individuals to safely return home.
  1. The Council commends the Taraba State Government for establishing the Karim Lamido Peace and Justice Commission of Inquiry. They urged the government to implement the commission’s findings and recommendations. Additionally, the Council calls on the people to support the peace initiative by being vigilant, setting aside tribal, cultural, and sectional differences, and working together to maintain peace and stability in the society. This collaborative effort can help foster a more harmonious and secure community.
  1. The Church reminds believers of their biblical responsibility to pray for their leaders, rather than criticizing or insulting them especially on the social media. This approach fosters a spirit of intercession, respect, and positivity, allowing believers to support their leaders through prayer and constructive engagement. By doing so, believers can contribute to a more peaceful and harmonious society.
  1. Synod expresses profound gratitude to Almighty God for the restoration of peace and harmony in Bissaula town, Kurmi Local Government Area of Taraba State. It warmly commends the Takum Regional Council for its exemplary leadership and efforts in facilitating reconciliation and rebuilding trust among the people following recent disputes. The Synod earnestly calls on the Taraba State Government to urgently station security personnel in Bissaula to protect the lives of the people and ensuring safety.
  1. Synod extends its heartfelt appreciation to an esteemed Elder statesman, Gen. Theophilus Yakubu Danjuma GCON (Rtd) for his remarkable act of generousity, through which the CRC-N Clinic in Takum was comprehensively remodeled and upgraded to the status of a modern hospital, now equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, advanced medical equipment, and well-trained professional personnel. At the end of the period, the hospital will be formally handed over to the CRC-N almost with a take-off grant to ensuring sustainability operations and continued service to the community.
  1. The Council highlights the significance of evangelism and church planting in passing on the gospel to future generations. By actively sharing the good news and establishing new churches, the Church can fulfill its mission of spreading the gospel, reaching more people, and promoting spiritual growth in diverse communities. This effort ensures the continuation of the Church’s work and the dissemination of Jesus Christ’s teachings to all areas.
  1. Synod felicitates with five serving Pastors of the Church who have successfully earned their Doctors of Philosophy (Ph.D) and Doctor of Minitries degrees. They are:
